The provision of Emergency NHS Dental Treatment outside of normal surgery hours is changing with effect from 1 July 2008. A new Out of Hours telephone contact number with the operational with effect from 6pm on Friday 30 June 2008.

Services will be provided from a dental surgery situated reasonably close to Rail and Bus Stations, with ground floor access. Details of the surgery addresses will be provided when appointments are offered. Services will be available Monday to Friday, via the above telephone number, during the working day from premises in East Riding and Hull Localities. Services will also be available, via the above number from surgery premises in Hull at weekends and bank holidays.
Normal NHS charges will apply for treatment provided. Payment by cheque must be covered by an appropriate bank card. Patients who are exempt from NHS charges are required to bring proof of entitlement.
This service is for urgent/ emergency dental care only.
The dentists will provide urgent care for patients with severe dental and facial pain not controlled by over the counter preparations, dental and soft tissue infections or for patients whose condition may significantly deteriorate before they can make arrangements to attend for treatment with a family dentist during normal surgery hours. Denture repairs do not constitute a dental emergency.
